Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell

BBC is bringing “Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell” to life. You can check the trailer below.

How amazing is this? I LOVED this trailer, and I can’t wait to catch up with the series.

“JS&MN” is one of my favorite books of all time. It’s not for everyone’s taste, I know. But I, personally, find it AMAZING! I mean, picture this: A Victorian lady narrates a story about 19th century magicians.

Do I even need to explain why this book is utter awesomeness incarnated?

No, I don’t.

Gosh darn you, Susanna Clarke. You raised the bar too high with this.

C.S. Wilde writes about fantastical worlds, love stories larger than life and epic battles. She also, quite obviously, sucks at writing an author bio. She finds it awkward that she must write this in the third person, and hopes you won’t notice.

Oooh, this sounds interesting! I found the book a little long-winded so putting it into film might be just the thing. Thanks for the heads-up. 🙂

  3. Watched the fifth episode last night. Best thing on telly in a long time. The story is so clever, the details fascinating and the BBC’s production engrossing.
